“LUCAS!” My dad screams my name while I am peacefully doing homework in my room. I yell what back respectfully, in which he proceeds to get pissed at me for doing the same exact thing back to him, but he wouldn’t have heard me if I didn’t yell. I then rushed down the stairs swiftly and the one and only reason he wants me is to just let me know that I have a dentist appointment in 2 months. I thought I was coming down because I was in trouble. I then go on Xbox and my friend tells me this is smoldering in anger. When I ask him why, he tells me he has to empty the dishwasher.
“Wow, you gotta empty the dishwasher, that sounds like the worst thing ever,” I say sarcastically, as they keep on going off.
Seeing people this angry, doesn’t anger me, but makes me feel like a person trying to calm down the Incredible Hulk. It almost seems like people get more mad over little things than actual problems in the world. Some people just ardently get mad, like they have a passion for it or something. Although it would be very hypocritical to get mad over something this small, which is why it doesn’t anger me, but more annoys me; a pet peeve.
My parents may just be mad because they work a lot and are stressed out at night. So, maybe in the future I should be more understanding about people's situations, and maybe their problems aren’t so small.
