What I Learned during Covid
I think one thing we can learn from covid is to cherish the family God has given us. Lots of people had to stay with the same family and not see their friends at school, or at work or at all. Others didn’t even get to live with their family during covid. I was blessed enough to be with my family during covid, but I soon got sick and tired of the same old family. Soon in covid my grandma got sick with cancer and, as a result, I never got to see her. I prayed for her to get healthy, but unfortunately the Lord did not answer me in the way I wanted. When my grandma was sick in the hospital, all of her kids came out, but only two could visit her at a time. When my grandma was getting near the end, I couldn’t even visit her because of covid. This taught me the value of family. After her death, all of our cousins came out to visit and I got to see my other family after a long time. I haven’t seen my family from Calgary and B.C since then. Surprisingly enough, covid brought my family together but also took a family member away. Always cherish the family God has given you through thick and thin.
