A part of you is still with me

     It all started on a Monday morning, during the beautiful month of March. I remember seeing him, never expecting the drastic changes he would make in my life. I never thought I’d make such a deep connection with someone; not the way I did with him. The constant smiles, the sparks anytime our skin would brush against each other, how tender and gentle his touch was, the warmth radiating off of him. Our story was out of movie, that unfortunately ended tragically.

     I recall our easy going conversations. It would flow so easily, it never ceased to amaze me. I had so much to say and he never grew tired of it. Always having something to fire back and the much needed advice, I so desperately craved. He made me feel so loved and validated, I didn’t want to take it for granted. I could confidently say my heart felt whole being with him. Maybe in a world that worked in my favor, we would’ve happily ended together. But one can only wish. Our story ended in February 13th which till this day a part of you is still with me.
