Writing a winning story is harder than it looks.
I have all of these genius story ideas swimming around in my head, waiting to be spilled onto the page.
But I have one major problem.
I can never figure out how I should start a story.
I can never think of what to use as the very first line.
It just doesn't come to me.
It simply doesn't work.
The creative story ideas come to me, but the breaking it down part is a little bit of a challenge.
I want to write a great novel and hopefully get it published.
I'll write the story, send it to a prestigious publisher, they'll love it, sell trillions of copies, people will read it, obsess over the wonderful characters, it will win awards, medals, I will go down in fame.
My story will be marvelous.

The only problem is,
I don't know how to start it.
