My License
I am a junior in high school. I still ride the bus. I have spent the past three years watching new people coming and the older students leave. Why do I still ride the bus? Gymnastics.
My practice takes up everyday and every opportunity to do the 14-hour program that is required for me to get my license. My parents have pushed for me to get my license and I even have a car! I feel ridiculous. Upperclassmen are looked up to and not expected to ride the bus. I am plagued every morning by having to walk about a mile to my bus stop and wait in the rain, sleet, and snow. This is humiliating. This is the story of my life.
