i wish someone had told me

i wish someone told me about you. i've heard all about the bad things, the fake sweet-talking, the smooth moves, the pretend interest, the way i'd get my heart broken. i've heard about how crushed i'd be and how i'd feel so dumb and defeated. but i wish someone had told me about you and the way you make me feel incredible and so happy or the way your smile would make me smile and your kiss would make my knees weak. i wish someone had warned me about falling and how real it would be. you make me feel so amazing.
