Summary:

Anastasia is a lonely high school girl who has recently moved to Kentucky from London. She wants to forget about her lonliness, therefore she decides to take a walk in order to focus more on nature instead. On her way to the cave, she sees a young boy wearing red boots that remind her of her own from London, which brings her a sense of comfort. After this, she takes a trail that is unmarked in order to avoid seeing anyone from her school, and she heads into a cave. In the cave, she becomes trapped with two other people due to a massive hurricane. Their names are Carlene and Cody. After almost drowning in the cave, the young boy, who Anastasia finds out is named Kyle, brings his father, who carries them out of the water filled cave.
