Writing takes me to another world
The words I write make the story unfurl.
I can escape reality for a little while,
Every now and then, I smile a small smile.
I can choose what happens next
Even though not everything relates to the context.
No, not everything has a happy ending,
But, the world has never shown itself to be pleasing.
A quick or prolonged death here and there
A stolen moment, or a daggared glare.
It takes reality off my mind,
Writing helps me focus on my time.
