The scarlet sky burned through the night.
Bleeding through it's opened scars
Desolate wastelands quench their thirst
By the sacred blood of the heavens.
Life is failing.

Men, women, and children cry out into the twilight.
Death ignores the chilling shrills.
A slow painful suffering drives the madness
Humanity's core surely shaken
Life has fallen

Dust stirs vigorously down the ruins.
Bodies by the billions ripen in the burning sun.
Silence rectifies the demolished earth.
Nature builds from where we have fallen.
Life is reborn.
