Look back at our struggle for freedom,
Trace out present day’s strength to its source;
And you’ll find that man’s road to glory,
Is united with the path of the horse.

All of our triumphs and victories,
Combined with all of our loses of course;
All the Generals blasting out tactics,
Are united with the path of the horse.

Remember our new inventions,
They were of medicine, gas, and technology of a sort,
When we no longer needed the Pony Express;
We separated from the path of the horse.

There are still people out there to remind us,
As our rich speed past in Porches,
They drive a hay powered plow,
And are united with the path of the horse.
