Unseen
I miss the days of being invisible.
 No one cared, but it was better than this;
 this is a different kind of miserable.
 Now, never ending gazes of piercing judgment,
 that could rip the strongest to shreds, lay upon me.
 This is what I wanted; no accident.
 I wanted to be larger, stronger,
 brighter, shining, glowing.
 I didn't want to be the wall flower any longer.
 My whole life, I've been on the sidelines
 watching and waiting.
 I was given the opportunity and should have declined.
 I was given the chance.
 I want to give it back.
