Flooded Skies of rainbow shines
Wisps of windswept clouds
Careful rhymes to describer the signs
Of the sun dying out

Blood soaked streets of heinous feats
Crimes of corpse built towns
Revenge beats as death eats
At the deaf gunshot sounds

The author's comments:
This is the only piece i have ever written that i did not have any real emotional connection too. It made it so much harder. But i think it still came out halfway decent. The poem compares a thing of beauty, a sunrise. To a thing a hate, crimes/violence.
