Silence
I’m just waiting in the silence
With a calm, uneasy feel
Gazing at the sunrise
Watching the sun slowly reveal.
These dark and cool, crisp mornings
With fresh in every breath
Make the invigorating silence
My early morning friend.
While no one has awoken
The world is still all mine
I listen to the silence
As the sun rises with time.
All eyes begin to open
The cold night changed to day
The dusk has changed to dawn light
And the silence slips away.
