Please Smile
Some words cannot express
those thoughts deep in your head
but no one can tell you’re sad
but you cry till your eyes are red
Words could not express
your eyes filled with hate
your friends only see
a smile all day
Songs could not tell
of your weak, strangling cry
no one to understand
no one to ask why
words could not express
your soft cries of sorrow
how your smile always wavers
and your head kept so low
You muffle your sadness
You wipe away your tears
but do you know
we’ll always be here?
Stories could not tell
of your smile so bright
how you make everything
seem alright
Words can not express
what we say again and again
how you’re so special
how you’re our friend
