I feel fine when I’m on my own
There’s no comparison when I’m alone
There’s no more attractive choice on display
No bigger bargain you can pay
Just me
Between the window and the shelf
I’d be better off by myself
Instead I have to watch as you make your selection
Narrowing it down to all forms of perfection
Not me
But times have changed
I don’t feel so estranged
Now that it’s my choice
