Euphoria
Happiness golden
and warmness fill my heart
A big golden bubble swelling,
Telling,
quickly still compelling
Me to smiling;
no beguiling!
Warm and ginger-smelling
and it rises
(no surprises)
Into my throat and mind
and EXPLODES into a gale
A twister and a hail
a sheer thunderstorm of giggles,
Swiftly growing,
and I’m knowing,
It’s for no reason at all.
just a call!
Just a sudden celebration
of light and life and love
And blue skies found again.
yet people edge away
And mutter through the day.
(I think they must be daft;
is so strange to laugh?)
