Some call it life,

Some call it love.

Some call it a knife

Sent from up above

Piercing all souls

With a fiery passion.

Leaving deep holes

In a graceful fashion.

Making moments more deep,

No matter what kind.

Taking powerful leaps

Straight into the mind.

Adrenaline rushes,

Briefly fearless.

Blood pumps and gushes,

Momentarily tearless.

But sometimes tears flow,

More than ever before.

Giving off a soft glow,

Light seeps from all pores.

So reach deep inside,

Pull out that knife.

Feeling amplified,

‘Cause music is life.
