The Brother I Never Loved
My brother was never there for me,
He left me alone in a strange world,
Whenever we grew closer,
He pushed me farther away.
I lived for the day when we would unite,
But I was only a spectacle to him,
He could never take me seriously,
Since I was only his kid brother.
I looked passed the beatings I endured,
But one day he left me for good,
And I learned that I wanted to love him,
But I never had a brother to love.
