The little thorn tree

By the little thorn tree
you see
the ghost of a long past
wander down what was atlast
to long
for a robin's song
but when that robin left
just alittle bit after sept-
tember By the little thorn tree
I see
her glide
stride
along the plants
like a light from a lamp
she glows
as she flows
into the thorns
that are sworn
to protect that little thorn tree
