Just a clear sunny day
Twin towers were collapsing
Should have been stopped
Terrorists caused horror in reality
Innocent people dead and dying
Planes were grounded
Good lives lost
People ruunning frantically for their own lives
No chance of taking back time
Watching family and friends die
Leaving them behind
Jumping off buildings to escape
The wrath of dust knocked some down
People like you and me, gone within seconds
Helping each other for survival
Some surviving the horrible tragedy
Others suffering a devistating death
The result of a thunderous explosion
A symbol of lives, time and history gone forever.
