Mask scratched; pierces your eyes and cracks your face
left with deception. arms torn, coiled on me
sweet ill-fated promises over laced
eyelids (veins streaked on thirsting lips) let’s see
painful bliss in the beat of conjoined heart
and let me be what you are afraid of
this sin on oath – to feel your bloody art
accepting. red moons; starless nights; pure love
in wretched cries and petrified wide eyes
beneath the fire that embraces their skulls
forgotten hurt; poisoned perfectly lies
their power ill and their creation falls
hope – in rotted hearts will never evolve
but truth in darkness will always involve
