Feeder Mice
Plump full belly
A simple existence
A few functions are all you need to know
Happy enough
Enough happy
To live on, enough to grow
Don’t need to look to the future
You’ll assume it’ll come
At it’s due timely speed
But now your tail is plucked
Some God snaps it’s fingers
Your life belongs to it
And it’s not even called greed
Scratch as you will
Dig for your alternates
Make squallier if you’d like
This end’s your future
It came quite too fast
But sadly it is nature’s right
