"It was the patient, cut-flower sound of a man waiting to die." - Patrick Rothfuss

Come on, give me a break. From what, you ask? Well, for starters, from reality! That means a break from earth, a break from the sun and stars and moon, a break from humanity, a break from machines and trees and the sea and sky. Yes, even a break from you. Don't get it? well then forget it. Just gimme a pencil and some paper; I'll make that break myself. Now, bye... I shall write myself a story / where upon the midnight hour / down upon me stars do shower / and as I dance in rain of glory / learn I will a brand new story / while terrifying gets the tale / the rain of glory turns to hail / and when it is gone, the break / back to reality i come and make / myself another story.

This was a quick, three - four minute piece, that I wrote mostly at random; However, the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Is this the real life, is this just fantasy, caught in a landslide, no escape from reality... ect. ect.)(By Queen) and i decided to write something about reality. Also, i wanted to try out the poetry style where you use the slashes ( / ).

Hello

you seem to focus on breaking, reality, and nature a lot.  For those hash marks, instead just make them another line.  And try not to always rhyme, it will add a different effect to your writing.  You're terrific at rhyming, but you should definitely try not doing it once

I really, really like this! Your imagery is fantastic; simply beautiful, and the whole concept is wonderful and relatable. Your voice is very unique as well within your writing, as if you're actually speaking to the reader. You have an amazing talent! Please write more like this :)
