I€™m on first! Oh no.
Am I going to forget my lines when I get up there?

Ok looks like it’s time for me to go up. Running lines in my head as I walk up onto the stage. Is my acting partner nervous? He sure looks nervous from here.

I look up at him as I’m saying my lines..OW! Thows limelights are hot!
”THERES NO PIANO THERE” I shout at my partner.
The audience laughs. That’s good that means they like the play.

All of a sudden it’s over. And I feel like a great weight has bin lifted off
of my shoulder. The audience applauds.

YES! They did like us!
We were a hit!

People that I know and people that I don’t know come up to congratulate my acting partner and I.
Other actors who were in other plays tonight come up to me and pat me on the back. Some even give me a hug.
An audience member comes up to me and tells me to keep acting.

Then I’m in my car and away I go back home.
But never forgetting the incredible feeling of success and accomplishment.

Yes, your partner was nervous, I'm glad the experience was powerful, there is nothing which compares to the performing arts....good for you!
