Favorite Quote:
Happiness is like a butterfly
The more you chase it
The more it will elude you
But if you turn your attention to other things
It will come and sit softly on your shoulder. - Henry David Thoreau

If the shoe fits, wear it, thou knowest the phrase?
A shoe mine heiress is, worn bare for days
Aglets are thy soothing words, split I shan’t
As foot fills thy throat, thou switchest to romance
Thy luxury laced looks leave me tongue-tied
Supported by own shanks, but thou art shy
Spring in each step, summer fills thy pure sole
We’ll walk to Earth’s end, love consumes us whole
For me, her eyes let the frays come to ends
Venus-blessed beauty, but kindness transcends
Before Somnus greets, my mind tracks her down
She runs through it till there’s nary a sound
My dearly beloved helps me tread terrains
Without her, I only feel deep, sharp pain

This was pretty much a school assignment in which I was randomly given an object to write about. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I was assigned shoes.
