Looking out the window
Watching the snow fall
The ground becomes a white sheet
an artistic canvas, open to the imagination
later angels will take the spot
perhaps a snowman or two
laughter from the first thrown snowball
a day of fun, without worry or care
spent time in a hot tub
watching the snow fall
the sun dies down
hot chocolate brews on the stove
wrap up in a blanket
and drift into a night
of peaceful sleep
