Come Back
You found a spot in my heart
But now we’re spending time apart
And I’m scared you’re leaving us behind
Pushing me from you’re heart, and mind
Forgetting all we could be and were
Well you run from me, to her
I understand we need to do this
But I’m running out of my ignorant bliss
Pretending you’re really coming back
But you left on a one way track
I don’t know how much longer I can try
Or how much longer I won’t let myself cry
I’m running out of the strength to run
And to pretend I’m really done
To look at you and say I don’t care
But all my feelings are still there
So I’ll hide my scars
Wishing on all the stars
That you’ll come back to me
Because we were meant to be.
