Prayers to a Fraud
I'm tired of waiting,
I'm sick of hurting and bleeding this way,
I'm done with blaming myself,
For the things that are gone 'cause YOU took them away
I am finished with all of this
that Ive tried to live with for far far too long
I have been weakened,
I am done being outwardly, maskedly strong.
I need it to go away,
I cant watch the bloody bath anymore,
I am through with this charade,
This world has become such a painful, disdainful bore.
I stare at the mess
that I thought I had made
But i see that I never was
Part of this raid,
I was always an innocent
ignorant bystander,
Waiting and hoping
To change how they all slander,
But all I can see
is the tears in my eyes,
All I can hear
are the prayers i have cried
All i can feel
Is the hurt you have caused,
So come to me, help me,
Speak to me... my fraud.
