My Heart's Blueprints

So easily whisked away by love
on the day built for Cupid
His pointed arrows aimed from above
punctured my heart's blueprints
Eyes widen and souls open
ready to feel the dreams for real
Valentines crimson and blush chosen
My own legs immobile
Marked as beautiful,
he walks and he smiles
turns a dark sky colorful
like the slow moving sundials
Warm fingers around my glove
twisting my wantings lucid
So easily whisked away by love
on the day built for Cupid
