Under One Roof
Mother and daughter
We're suppose to be the best of friends
 Instead we coexist
 Under one roof

 You come in from work
 I come in from school
 You go down stairs
 I go to my room

 Day after day
In this place we call home
I can’t remember the last time we sat down
 And really communicated

Because of this I truly believe
 Are relationship has suffered
 We're mother and daughter
This is not how its suppose to be
