Crashing
Salt tickles my tongue like an over seasoned pretzel
So pungent that it makes me cringe
Spittering and Sputtering to rid of the taste
The sun dances like a sea of fish beneath the surface
The reflection shimmers off the waves
Its brightness surprises my eyes and leads them to a far-off dolphin
The ocean is a silk blanket cocooning you in comfort
Coldness overwhelms your senses and takes you by surprise
The touch of a fish swimming past you sends a shiver through your spine
The ocean smells like a pool party on hot summer days
A gust of wind brings the scent of sea salt through your nose
Stinky smell of fish permeating throughout the harbor
Crashing waves sound like roaring jet planes flying through the air
Chatter of seagulls speak to me from above
Delightful squeals of children remind me of my childhood
