I’m from a family forging through adversity,

a mother showing us how to overcome adversity by defeating cancer.

With a father to support us, siblings to back each other,

from failing tests, relationship breakups, and car crashes.

I'm from a family that believes all things are possible through Him.

I’m from a family where our mother is our foundation on which we were build,

 the foundation where her children grow and learn.

Leading us in the right direction, when making decisions that could affect our life.  

She has instilled in me values, hope and faith.

I’m from a family where our father pushes us to our full potential,

to ensure we have opportunities in the future.   

He will push me to do my best in school, sports, and extra curriculars.   

He will always make sure that I am the best person I can be.

They will be there for me when no one else is in times of a break up.
