2022 Family traditions contest, Family Dinner

My family doesn’t really have traditions
but we do go out to eat once and a while
for me, it’s one of the best things in the world.
Going out and having genuine conversations
with my parents about things they have not heard about yet.
I love seeing their reactions to the good news
and seeing them all laugh when I tell them a story.
Then eating the food is also a good part
we'll try each other's dishes and see whose tastes the best
even though in the end
we dont care
we just like being together as one.
