Your eyes upon me
from a distance
scanning me;
up and down
then down and up
memorizing me,
undressing me,
remembering me,
invading my mind.
Your eyes take me
away from reality
and I drift into peace.
You glance away
and I'm back,
snapping into reality.
I turn
as you're walking away.
Now I'm spending my days
just waiting
for the moment
when we once again
cross paths.
