Thinking of you
I cant help thinking about you.
You make me smile in the mist of my tears.
Your face seems to take my problems away,
For an hour, for a day.
I know we are a lifetime away,
maybe more, maybe less.
We may never know.
I always seem to want what I can't have.
It's funny how things work.
How someone could potentially complete you
and it's impossible for the pieces to come together.
Maybe not impossible but a one-in-a- million chance.
You are out there living your life and I'm stuck here.
Yea maybe I will never be part of your life and you never mine.
But at least we met and I got a small piece of you that I can hold on to.
