Through my eyes
Of gray
Smoke and fog
I see
What you see
The world
The warrant of war
Through our eyes
Of gray and black
Smoke and tar
We see
What the renegade won’t see
The death
The dismay
I trust one day
They too will see
The hatred
And make it harmony.
