The Life shattering Lies
Together forever
That what you always told me
Apparently you lied
Everything was a lie wasn’t it?
The times you told me you loved me
The times that you said that you would never let me go
The moment you told me you’d come back
That you’d return as soon as possible
I began to wait
And wait
Until eventually I had to break down and cry
I searched for you
I gave up my life
You were gone
Not from the world
But from my life
The life that you ruined
You stole my heart
And broke it into a million pieces
You never once called
You never once wrote
Even though you knew
Just how much I loved you
Just how much I thought you loved me
It was always you and me against the world
Not anymore
It’s just me against the misery
I try to fight the pain
But it ends up winning
I used to stare at the phone
I’d walk by your house everyday
I would sit in our old spot under the apple tree
Now I just lay in the dark
Looking up to the sky
And waiting for it all to end
