The Water MAG
We've lived, under one tree drenched
In dusk, for so long.
Poetry pours out of your mouth like
Rain, absorbed by the dirt as quickly
As it fell.
We plummet through the words and the
Moon, dark clouds, dark sun,
Dark sky. Your eyes full of
Light; mine full of
Abyss. I listen to the
Voices that sing and fly
Around me, and
Blood stains my
Palms, as I sit silently.
I lend them to the river, where
The water washes over me
As the branch breaks and I fall,
Into the sky where I find only
You, and the clouds. No more.
I gaze up into the watery mirror, and
You whisper: No matter how
Many times you die,
You'll always die again
