I don't want to be disappointed in you
But I can't help the way I feel
You let me down again
I never wanted anything to change

The first time you were apologetic
You didn't want me to think badly of you
Why can't we go back to that time
I never wanted anything to change

I know that you go to different parties
I know that you hang out with different people
I know that we are different now, but
I never wanted anything to change

I went on in this oblivion
Ignoring all the signs
Clinging to out past together
I never wanted anything to change

Then today I was texting someone else
Their message showed me what people think of you
And then it hit, it made me realize
Everything has changed
