What would it be like to not see?
If something like that should happen to me,
I would be crying for hours.
To not see the lush grass or beautiful flowers,
I wouldn't be able to cope.
I'd run out of hope.

People, who are blind, are so brave.
Imagine not seeing the clear, blue ocean waves.
What some people go through
Is unimaginable. No more outside view...
I am so lucky that I have sight.
Without it you cannot read late at night.

We should be thankful of our eyes.
The fact that some can see and others cannot
Is so unfair. I wish there were some compromise.
Every time you see something beautiful, make sure to appreciate it a lot.
Love everything you see twice as much,
To make up for those who cannot see it. They can only touch.
