And waited I have
For years, it seems I have done
nothing but wait
I come to this spot every night,
To watch the horizon
In hopes of seeing your return
But each night is the same
You’re not on the horizon
You’re not returning home
You’re not returning to me…
But I will wait
As I had promised you
I will wait for eternity.
