Friends of Foes
You’re beautiful in your own way
Making every one’s life amazing
I went too far
Slipped a note in your locker
Then later that day I find out that you’re in love
It shocked me
It was like getting shot by a gun
The pain was too much
Plus the fact that I drop the note in your locker
It was all overwhelming
Too much to take in at once
I need some time to get my head clear
I embarrassed myself to try to be with you
But instead of being together
We were just friends
Maybe that is better
Than to get hurt by your cruel feelings
I love you once
But not any more
We’re just friends of foes
