Changed so much and both split our separate ways
Haven’t seen you in too many days
You’re right; it’s been a long time
I stepped back, but I’m back to shine
Its never going to be better, I know
But I can wish and dream and pray and hope
I wish, one day, you’d be at my door
But, when you’re near, its hurts even more
Maybe too much time has passed
This life is going by too fast
I’m afraid you won’t even recognize me
Maybe I’m just not who I used to be
