you climbed my walls (found poem)
today we took to the rainy streets
heads low, hearts high
fingers linked like precious metals
(we’ve all burned bridges
but with each touch, you heal my scars)
i slipped and fell onto the asphalt
(you laughed
it had ruined the moment)
and i’m still falling
(fast)
only i’m not scared at all.
