Tell Me True
You walk down the hall with those other girls,
Your long, dark hair bouncing in curls.
You laugh, you giggle, you snicker at me.
It hurts me down deep, can't you see?
We used to be close, like sisters at heart
until some unknown situation tore us apart.
You left me with nothing. I'm lonely. I'm scared.
I thought you were my friend. I thought that you cared.
Just to think I told you my secrets, my problems, and my dreams.
I'm not good enough to be with you, is what it seems.
I need answers. I need to talk and figure this out.
My entire world is spinning. All I want to do is shout.
I'm quiet on the outside, but questions race within my head.
At times like this sometimes, I almost wish I were dead.
So tell me this, and please, tell me true;
Are we friends or are we through?
