I'm Sick
I can taste the sickness that lingers in my mouth
it mocks me.
If my throat wasn’t stinging and clogging my airway
I would chase the sickness,
but alas the sickness makes a comfortable home inside me
Making me bitter and sad at times, the sickness laughs in my face.
Bringing me down is its goal, and it has the advantage,
it can destroy me internally,
leaving me as an empty shell.
But here come the antibiotics to save the day!
They attack the sickness
And make it leave.
Another flu chased away
