High school relationships are like
Buying a new shirt one size too small.
Knowing it isn’t going to last very long
then appalled when it is time to throw it away.
Rebecca went from single to in a relationship.
Now that you have made it Facebook official,
it has become old news and last week’s fad.
The shirt is then thrown into a machine of
jealous girls, rumors, and competition.
Fighting to stay intact while being sloshed around,
it slowly loses its color and glamour.
You hide it away in the back of your closet,
to then gradually forget about it.
Many months ,fads ,and relationships go by
before you even glance at the shirt again.
Rebecca went from in a relationship to single.
You’re now back on the market,
scavenging for a new shirt to make you feel
special, noticed, and fashionable.
