The black sky of majesty
Staring down underneath itself
The world black
Never to see the light of the moon

The world overflowed with rage
A rainbow only one shade
The darkest colors of mankind
The black souls, the red bloodshed

The sky sees underneath the stars
Down below the brightness of the heavens
The silver moon,
The golden sun’s beauteous rays,
Struggling to pour down on the earth.

The gold may be glorious,
But the shadows are true,
They tell the honest emotions of the world,
The green grass is fading,
Into a bittersweet grey,
The water is not blue,
But clear to you,
A reflection of what the world really is.
The world’s rainbow is fading,
It is turning bleak,
It is a raging rainbow

It is strange how something can inspire us to write something completely different. I was listening to the song "Don't Let me Fall" by Lenka which is more like a lullaby, the first lines are underneath the moon, underneath the stars, which is somewhat similar to my beginning
