coloring in the lines is such a waste
who cares about white space?
who cares about balance?
paint it all violet
and drench it with drops of scarlet
and shade it with sunrises
dot it with goodnight kisses
splatter it with cups of coffee
with saltwater tears
clumsy twirls in a lover's arms
it will all be erased
at the end
