Alone
I'm here in this,
Unfamiliar place.
I'm not just here,
I'm locked in,
Entrapped.
This is a whole new
Feeling;
A routine.
Wake up, school,
Then back to sleep.
As a prisoner,
I am restricted.
Restricted from
Anyone and
Anything.
I've been alone before;
The last kid in the hall,
The only one home,
But nothing compares to
How I feel now.
I've been sitting alone,
Stranded,
For months on end.
No words can explain
The feeling of
alone
